The Dot Net / Angular Developer will work in close collaboration with the Data Manager and Provincial M&E Coordinator to support the development and cleaning of various databases and providing support in national level M&E tasks and assignments.
Key Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks:
- Design, develop, and maintain multiple dashboards that will accurately represent field-collected data.
- Ensure security measures are in place to control access.
- Work with management to maintain and prioritise the defects database.
- Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to management.
- Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities
- Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis, and technical support for multiple databases.
- Administer user system access and establish safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements.
- Oversee activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
- Responsible to gather and retrieve family planning related dataset from the government existing management information systems.
- Compile the collated dataset for different activities in the project databases and management information system in timely manner and per the set deadlines.
- Conduct periodic data quality spot checks based on the standardized tools in close collaboration with provincial M&E coordinators
- Assist in conducting qualitative and quantitative assessment in the Pub-SSD project districts.
- Any other task assigned by data manager/provincial coordinator.
Qualification, Skills and Competencies:
- Graduate or equivalent degree in Computer Sciences. Master’s degree will be preferred
- Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience in ASP.net, Web API, MVC, and Angular 6 for frontside database development.
- Must be familiar with databases, MS-SQL, and MySQL.
- Hands on experience in Microsoft packages including Ms. Excel, MS Word and MS Power point
- Working knowledge of the Google App Engine and Android OS.
- Experience developing and implementing open source software projects
- The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines. Must be able to work independently and respond to queries in a timely manner.
