1.       MAIN TASK

 A.    Planning, Mointoring,Evaluation and Reporting

 In close coordination with Programme Team Grants Manager/ Project Officer for Third Party Support develop and implement monitoring procedures to ensure quality control related to project  activities carried out by partners in collaboration with communities and service providers;

  • Establish, update and maintain monitoring database of the donor funded project of GBV programme
  • Provide technical feedback/advice in coordination with Project team in Islamabad on mechanism and structures with respect to partner;
  • Contribute in capacity building of partners staff for effective implementation of Project specifically for compliance assurance, appropriate visibility and Gender mainstreaming
  • Ensure partners are reporting and coordinating to relevant structures at the district level;
  • In close coordination with Project team in Islamabad, ensure timely inputs and quality assurance   at different stages of program/project cycle, project implementation plans, baseline assessments, range of field level surveys, progress reports.
  • Develop, update and maintain communications, database for  project
  • Develop and disseminate periodic visibility material in consultation with Project team in Islamabad with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure that proper reporting and documentation systems are in place at partners’ level
  • Ensure submission of regular and timely information through monitoring reports and visits  

 B.    Project Cycle Management

 Planning

  • At the Inception phase of the project in close coordination with project team support the partner with identification, recruitment of the key project personnel for the effective implementation of the project;
  • During the project implementation, assist in facilitating the organization of baseline, market studies, perception surveys, tracer studies, researches and evaluations for the programme while ensuring gender mainstreaming;
  • Assist in developing monitoring tools and frameworks for effective implementation of the project;
  • In close coordination with Project team/ Programme Coordinator, develop standardized PMER tools to ensure systematic monitoring and evaluation of the projects;

 Implementation

  • Liaise and coordinate with partner’s staff and community groups to ensure inclusiveness, accountability and best use of project resources
  • Conduct monitoring and follow up of action plans prepared by partners’ staff in consultation with community groups
  • Contribute and facilitate in developing case studies / success stories by supporting    partners’ staff capacity on developing case studies and documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality reports according to organizations’ and donors’ requirements
  • Ensuring that timely and proper reporting, documentation systems are in place
  • Ensures timely technical inputs and oversight at the different stages of program/project cycle: start-up work plans, project implementation plans, baseline, assessment/ progress reports;
  • In consultation with Programme team facilitate the partners and other key stakeholders in identification of linkages for improving skills, referral mechanisms for employment

 Monitoring and Evaluation 

  • Monitor ongoing / completed activities through field visits and documents review and provide effective recommendations for future follow ups
  • Ensure opportunities for reflection on lessons learnt in projects / program in coordination with project team
  •  Assist in facilitating projects / programs evaluations

C.    Mainstreaming – Gender, Synergy building

  • Ensure gender mainstreaming throughout the project period
  • Support Project team in Islamabad and partner in building rapport with relevant provincial / district networks and authorities  

 D.  Accountability & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with the accountability standards and ensure the development of plans to meet organization and donor accountability standards and commitment;
  • Support Project team in arranging capacity sessions to facilitate in aligning the HR, procurement and administrative procedures to be aligned with organization and donor rant requirements
  • Maintenance of an effective record and filing system for all complaints solved and pending issues including correspondences and other related documents for quick and easy reference
  • Build capacities of partner’s staff on establishment of effective complaint referral mechanism
  • In coordination with the partner communicate and disseminate complaints handling procedures, policies and tools as relevant to beneficiaries, partner project staff and other stakeholders

 Qualifications and Experience :- 

  • Bachelor degree preferably in relevant social sciences
  • Minimum five years’ experience of working on cultural cohesion, understanding & diversity projects or other related fields is a must  
  • Experience of working with international agency and/or NGO an advantage

Other skills:-

  • Good understanding of local context, culture, vulnerable groups, and underlying socio-politico-economic situation and working with senior leaders and communities of diverse faiths
  • Experience of developing program strategy and strong proposals and reports writing skills
  • Good understanding and experience about positive use of social media and digitalization tools
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to define work priorities
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English with good knowledge of Urdu and other local languages
  • A good team player , and learn and use online financial and budget management system.
