Instrument Engineer

Qualification: 

• B.Sc / B.E Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) from PEC Recognized University.

Experience: 

• Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, fertilizer, chemical or petrochemical industry.

Skills:

• Should have sound knowledge (programming / configuration) and troubleshooting skills on DCS (Honeywell Experion R410 & Delta-V) and PLC (Allen Bradley).
• Troubleshooting & calibration experience on Emerson Gas Chromatograph & Flow computers (FloBoss FB 103/107), control valve, level transmitters etc.
• Experience of power generation and distribution system, variable frequency drives, switch gears, motors will be additional advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide instrument designs support for routine daily operation of process units.
• Prepare instrumentation work scopes, cost estimates, schedules, material specs, sketches, construction work packages and other required documentation.
• Troubleshooting instrumentation problems & issues, develop alternative and propose & implement solution for long-term reliability.
• Maintain record & history of instruments, spares arrangements and budget preparation and monitoring
• Answer technical inquires, make technical recommendation, improve design tools & develop design procedures and provide training.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable Environmental, Health, Safety & ISO standards and codes.
• Design instrument loops including selection & sizing of flow meters, control valves and other field instrumentation.
• Red, understand & develop drawings including P&IDs, schematics and connection diagrams.
• Evaluate & select suppliers for specific instrumentation applications.
