Position: Human Resources Officer

Base of Operations: Islamabad, Pakistan

Period of Performance: LTTA

Overview

The Human Resources Officer will provide administrative support to the HR Manager in Islamabad. This position reports to the HR Manager.

 Scope of Work

    • Support the project’s human resources department in coordination with the HR manual.
    • Maintain HR Filing system for all offices, record keeping of all documents, both electronically in TAMIS and hard binders.
    • Support in vetting process for potential employees.
    • Support in recruitment process such advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, EBD Verification, reference/background check, and providing support in issuing employment/consultant agreements to new recruits as well as recruitment of grants related staff
    • Recording the process of candidate selection, collecting and providing information for rate justification and coordinating with HO on regular basis regarding recruitment approvals, transfers, resignations, leave encashment, processing final payments etc.
    • Coordinating with HO for creation/deletion of Oracle IDs and Email IDs for project staff
    • Maintain leaves record for all staff both manually and in TAMIS.
    • Time sheet processing and maintaining monthly consolidated data
    • Managing and tracking changes in Health, EOBI & life Insurance details of all staff
    • Maintaining trackers for employment, leaves, health claim reimbursement, performance management, attendance
    • Serve as a backstop in the absence of HR Manager.
    • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • University degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in related role required.
  • Relevant experience working on donor funded project in a related role is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • English language fluency required.
