Summary of Role:

The Program Coordinator – DAFPAK is required to take the lead on our project and provide day-to-day oversight of administrative and operational functions in order to achieve project sustainability and success in accordance with defined target, strategies and goals. The selected candidate will provide technical support to Program Manager and Team Lead on all work streams particularly on Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) and coordination with stakeholder and consortium partners.

Qualification: Undergraduate.

Experience:


• Previous working experience of 4-6 years; working experience on DFID contracts will be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of program coordination and development procedures
• Hands on experience in budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience of using digital outreach and other media channels to engage stakeholders.
• Experience of supervising research projects, creative work and SBCC campaigns preferably in the social sector.
• Preference will be given to the candidate having sound knowledge on BCC and a proven record of successfully implemented BCC campaigns.

The timely and proper management of the DAFPAK program key deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
  • Ensure implementation of policies and practices
  • Monitor project budget and track expenditures/transactions
  • Handle the project related financial administration
  • Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
  • Keep all members of the team up to date with relevant project information
  • Communicate with team members to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
  • Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
  • Prepare paperwork and order material
  • Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
  • Support growth and program development
  • Create presentations, summaries and helping materials to ensure better communication and company-wide understanding of the program
  • Assist Program Manager to ensure the compliance of the M&C Saatchi Pakistan operations on all required aspects for DAFPAK.
  • Managing complex teams, multiple partners and stakeholders.

Support Program Manager to manage workflow within the DAFPAK structure, as defined in the M&C Saatchi DAFPAK organogram

  • Serve in a client-facing role as and when required, upon the advice of the DAFPAK Team Leader.
  • Ensure the relevant teams have proper briefs (including creative, outreach, media, digital/social, mobile).
  • Ensure that status reports are updated and circulated weekly to all relevant team members.
  • Ensure strong coordination between the M&C Saatchi team members inside Pakistan, with the UK, and with external team

members.

The role is advertising with criteria including specifications of the documents that are required (candidates need to provide basic eligibility to work and other documents for verification; they are made aware of data protection and the complaints procedure to avoid any perception of unfair treatment).

  • Ensure all DAFPAK consortium partners and corporate requirements led by the London office are fulfilled.
  • Assist Program Manager to Track Progress gathering and updating knowledge and information for the numerous Family Planning actors, especially about their on-ground activities. Actors include DAFPAK partners.
