Background
Chemonics seeks a team lead for the anticipated Department for International Development-funded Punjab Education Program (PEP). PEP supports the government of Punjab, Pakistan to deliver equitable access to better quality education through a range of interventions, including technical assistance to improve program delivery, capacity building to support institutional development, and policy reform. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee all aspects of the project
- Manage a team of technical specialists to improve education in Punjab province
- Lead the implementation of the project
- Lead donor and home-office coordination and work planning
- Work with relevant DFID, government, and Chemonics stakeholders
- Ensure accurate internal and external reporting
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in education or a relevant field
- Senior-level professional experience in the education sector in Pakistan or similar contexts
- Experience working with government officials and vulnerable groups, including women, children, and individuals with disabilities
- Prior experience with DFID-funded projects highly preferred
- Specific sector experience in Punjab province highly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in English required
