Grants Manager
Chemonics seeks a Grants Manager for the proposed five-year, $15 million Ghizaiat Nutrition Activity. This multi-sector nutrition activity will work to improve the nutritional status of the Pakistani people especially women and children living in the newly merged districts (NMD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. Ghizaiat will focus on increasing local production, commercialization and consumption of nutritious foods, and increasing households’ awareness of good nutrition and hygiene behaviors. The project will be based in Islamabad. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, management or other relevant discipline; master’s degree preferred.
- Five to seven years of experience managing a grants portfolio; at least 3 years of experience managing international donor-funded grants programs
- Demonstrated experience managing USAID-funded grants under contracts strongly preferred.
- Understanding of applicable policies and procedures regarding financial management, procurement and grants management requirements required.
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate with diverse teams, national and provincial government officials, international donors, and private sector stakeholders.
- Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to maintain a rapid and demanding pace of work
- Attention to detail and experience with crafting clear and deliverable-based program descriptions
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Urdu required.
