Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Specialist

Chemonics seeks a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning specialist for the proposed five-year, $15 million Ghizaiat Nutrition Activity. This multi-sector nutrition activity will work to improve the nutritional status of the Pakistani people especially women and children living in the newly merged districts (NMD) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. Ghizaiat will focus on increasing local production, commercialization and consumption of nutritious foods, and increasing households’ awareness of good nutrition and hygiene behaviors. The project will be based in Islamabad. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, development studies, social sciences, or other relevant discipline; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience and in a development project environment. 
  • Familiarity with USAID monitoring and evaluation protocols required. Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation requirements of USAID Health thematic area preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in research, and monitoring and evaluation of public health, agricultural production nutrition and health systems strengthening programs with a focus on female beneficiaries
  • Ability to determine key indicators to measure project impact, and to develop measurement systems for them
  • Ability to analyze and report on program performance and impact from the perspective of donors, program planners and partners
  • Excellent communications and writing ability
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate with diverse teams, national and provincial government officials, international donors, and private sector stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Urdu required.
